Grimes<\/a> is pleading with the public to keep her children out of the media after her four-year-old son, X AE A-XII, visited the White House<\/a> with his father Elon Musk<\/a> during a televised press conference in the Oval Office<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Following Musk\u2019s surprise appearance<\/a>, Grimes, the billionaire\u2019s ex-girlfriend with whom he shares three children, claimed she had no clue her son was going to be there and took to X to criticize the move.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was like, \u2018Grimes slams,\u2019 \u2018Grimes speaks out.\u2019 It\u2019s like, OK, it was a reply,\u201d Grimes said in an interview with Time<\/a>, published Feb. 25. \u201cI would really like people to stop posting images of my kid everywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think fame is something you should consent to. Obviously, things will just be what they are. But I would really, really appreciate that. I can only ask, so I\u2019m just asking,\u201d added Grimes, whose legal name is Claire Boucher.<\/p>\n

During his appearance at the White House, X AE A-XII was seen sitting in the Oval Office beside Musk, occasionally moving around while his father fielded questions from reporters. Viewers took to X to note how \u201cpolite\u201d the young child was during the half-hour appearance.<\/p>\n

Grimes responded<\/a>\u00a0to the post, writing, \u201cHe should not be in public like this. I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I\u2019m glad he was polite. Sigh.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last week, Grimes tried to reach out to Musk on X, urging him to respond to her about a \u201cmedical crisis\u201d<\/a> involving one of their children.<\/p>\n

In a series of now-deleted posts<\/a> on X on Feb. 20, Grimes, wrote, \u201cPlz respond about our child\u2019s medical crisis. I am sorry to do this publicly but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation. This requires immediate attention.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you don\u2019t want to talk to me can you please designate or hire someone who can so that we can move forward on solving this,\u201d she added. \u201cThis is urgent, Elon.\u201d<\/p>\n

Grimes did not elaborate on what the medical crisis was or which child she was speaking about.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not giving any details but he won\u2019t respond to texts call or emails and has skipped every meeting and our child will suffer life long impairment if he doesn\u2019t respond asap, so I need him to f\u2013king respond and if I have to apply public pressure then I guess that\u2019s where we are at,\u201d she wrote in another post.<\/p>\n
