She was reported missing by her concerned family about a week later on Dec. 10, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Police said that at the time of her disappearance, Singh was living with her common-law boyfriend at a downtown Hamilton apartment building.<\/p>\n<p>Singh\u2019s boyfriend was also reported missing at the same time but was found on Dec. 11 after going to a family member\u2019s home outside of Hamilton, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators said Singh\u2019s boyfriend has \u201cnot cooperated with the investigation\u201d into her disappearance and has \u201cprovided no information that could assist in locating Shalini.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"c-ad c-ad--bigbox l-article__ad\">\n<p>Story continues below advertisement<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cDespite searching the building several times, police have not located any evidence relating to her disappearance,\u201d investigators said.<\/p>\n<div class=\"c-inlineSignup\" data-newsletter-inline=\"\">\n<div class=\"c-inlineSignup__image\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"170\" height=\"225\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/globalnews.ca\/wp-content\/themes\/shaw-globalnews\/images\/skyline\/national.jpg\" alt=\"For news impacting Canada and around the world, sign up for breaking news alerts delivered directly to you when they happen.\"\/>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"c-inlineSignup__content\">\n<h3>Get breaking National news<\/h3>\n<p>For news impacting Canada and around the world, sign up for breaking news alerts delivered directly to you when they happen.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>This included hundreds of hours of surveillance video from the building to trace Singh and her boyfriend\u2019s movements in the days around her disappearance, police said.<\/p>\n<p>They noted there is no CCTV footage showing Singh leaving her building after Dec. 4.<\/p>\n<div class=\"c-tabs\">\n<p>\n\t\t\t<button role=\"tab\" class=\"c-tabs__tab c-tabs__tab--active\" type=\"button\">More on Crime<\/button><br \/>\n\t\t\t<button role=\"tab\" class=\"c-tabs__tab\" type=\"button\">More videos<\/button>\n\t\t<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cPolice are investigating the possibility that Shalini was killed in her apartment and removed from the building through the building\u2019s garbage disposal system,\u201d Hamilton police said.<\/p>\n<p>Police said early in the investigation, investigators learned that some of the apartment building\u2019s garbage might still be at the Kenora Waste Transfer Station.
