The goal is to give the driver a better view of any children around the bus before they drive off.<\/p>\n<div class=\"c-inlineSignup\" data-newsletter-inline=\"\">\n<div class=\"c-inlineSignup__image\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"170\" height=\"225\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/globalnews.ca\/wp-content\/themes\/shaw-globalnews\/images\/skyline\/national.jpg\" alt=\"Get the day's top news, political, economic, and current affairs headlines, delivered to your inbox once a day.\"\/>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"c-inlineSignup__content\">\n<h3>Get daily National news<\/h3>\n<p>Get the day&#8217;s top news, political, economic, and current affairs headlines, delivered to your inbox once a day.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cIt allows you to have a bird\u2019s eye view of about 50 feet above the school bus looking down \u2014 all the way down to the ground, right to the sides of the bus and all the way out,\u201d says Maurice Gregoire, president of MJG Technologies. \u201cAnd you can see as the people are moving, vehicles are moving, what have you.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"c-ad c-ad--bigbox l-article__ad\">\n<p>Story continues below advertisement<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Gregoire says the company is in talks with Transport Canada on how the systems will roll out. And what could happen is that all buses coming into Canada would have the CrossSafe 360 system built into the bus at the point of manufacture.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s unclear if potential Canada-U.S. tariffs will throw a wrench into those plans.
