legal challenge against the New Brunswick government because the province reversed a \u201charmful\u201d policy on transgender students.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d21y75miwcfqoq.cloudfront.net\/70c8fc80\" alt=\"\" style=\"position:absolute;width:1px;height:1px\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The rights group had gone to court over the previous government\u2019s requirement that students under 16 receive parental consent before teachers could use their preferred first names and pronouns.<\/p>\n<p>But the Progressive Conservatives\u2019 policy was changed after the Liberals won the October provincial election and permitted young students \u00a0starting Jan. 1 to choose their own names and pronouns in
