She was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries and died a few days later.<\/p>\n<p>The woman has been identified as 22-year-old Rachel Turner. Her parents, Susan and Leon Turner, told Global News the loss of their daughter is \u201creally hard.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s horrible,\u201d Susan said. \u201cIt blows up your whole world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGetting married, and having a job and having kids. We\u2019ve lost seeing all those things with her. It\u2019s really hard to get up every day, but you have to; you have to just continue on in her honour.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"c-ad c-ad--bigbox l-article__ad\">\n<p>Story continues below advertisement<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Leon said Rachel was on her way to work when she was hit about one block away from her home trying to catch the streetcar. The driver and the school bus company have not yet filed a defence and the allegations against them have not yet been proven in court.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/Rachel-Turner-Legacy-Fund\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GoFundMe<\/a> has also been set up by the family for the Rachel Turner Legacy Fund.
