WILDLIGHT, FL / ACCESSWIRE / December 12, 2024 / Rayonier (NYSE:), a leading timberland real estate investment trust, is pleased to announce the award of $144,125 in grants to 46 local organizations serving Nassau County and North Florida.
This year’s grants, distributed through the Rayonier Community Fund, will support a diverse range of impactful programs, including those focused on education, environmental conservation, cultural enrichment, civic engagement, and health and human services.

To celebrate the honorees, Rayonier hosted its annual awards breakfast at the FSCJ Betty P. Cook Nassau Center, bringing together grant recipients and local leaders, including County Commissioner Hupp Huppmann, District 2, and County Commissioner Klynt Farmer, District. 5. Also in attendance were Property Appraiser-Elect Kevin Lilly, Nassau County School Board member Gail Cook, Sheriff Bill Leeper and the Honorable Judge Jenny Higginbotham, in the Fourth Judicial Circuit.
“Our community’s commitment allows us to further our mission, providing critical support and mentorship to underserved children in Nassau County,” noted Robin Lentz, Executive Director of Take Stock in Children. “This grant from the Rayonier Community Fund will be instrumental in providing four-year university scholarships, opening doors to higher education for those who need it most.”
